If asked what I would do if I were not an artist I would have no other answer. Ever since I was a child art was all that I wanted to do. My first memory where I realized that I saw things differently than others is when I drew a bumble bee at Spicewood Elementary in Austin, Texas. I must have been about eight. I will never forget the other kid's reactions when they asked me about how I drew the wings. I didn't realize I was doing anything that any other eight year old would do as I drew in the veins. Now as an adult, I still enjoy hearing what people have to say when they react to art. That is what is so great about art. It is open to one's interpretation. One person sees a sunrise and the other sees a sunset.
